CHRIS LIPP
Chris Lipp is a leading expert in persuasion with decades of experience as an author, professor, and trainer. Often called the “Pitch Guy,” his first book The Startup Pitch introduced the modern framework used to coach investment pitches that is now ubiquitous at global accelerators and institutions. He teaches popular classes on communication and leadership at Tulane University’s business school, and regularly leads workshops at larger organizations. Chris second book, Magnetic, is used as communication textbook to help business students speak up confidently.
Chris holds a master’s degree in social psychology. He taught at Rice University and USC. Currently he serves as professor and director of management communication at Tulane University Freeman School of Business. As a long-time meditator, he spends one month every year in a silent retreat.
